Flannelboards at Playtime

Felt flannelboard sets are a fun interactive tool for children to manipulate and practice concepts.  Mother Goose on the Loose has a great explanation as to why flannelboards are useful to young children at https://mothergooseontheloose.com/about/what-makes-mgol-unique/using-the-flannel-board/.

I usually bring out two flannelboard sets at each playtime.  Some of the popular sets include:

-          Ask Mr. Bear Marjorie Flack (based on the book by Marjorie Flack)

-          My Polar Bear & His Ball (about colors)

-          One dinosaur went out to play

-          Brown Bun, Brown Bun What Do You See?
